TERRY L. WATSON, DMD
Dr. Watson enjoys transforming people’s lives through cosmetic dentistry with an emphasis on creating new smiles using implants to restore normal functions.
“The most fulfilling part of my job is getting to see the confidence and self-esteem of my patients skyrocket after doing the work that so many of them thought was impossible!”
This University of Louisville School of Dentistry graduate genuinely cares about the health and happiness of each patient. That’s why in the summer of 2016, after running a successful practice in Arkansas for 20 years, Dr. Watson purchased this practice from Dr. Michael Tabor and renamed it Midtown Smiles. He’s thrilled to be providing excellent care to our wonderful patients while Dr. Tabor focuses on Dental Sleep Medicine!
Dr. Watson believes in building a real relationship with each patient and often becomes so comfortable around his patients that you might catch him singing chairside! Outside the office, Dr. Watson cherishes the time spent with his wife Dana (who serves as office manager at Midtown Smiles) and their two daughters.
Dr. Watson is an avid outdoorsman, spending his free time hunting, fishing and boating among other outdoor activities. Need a custom duck call? Dr. Watson might be able to help you out!
If you’re looking for a dentist to provide a personal touch to professional care (with a great sense of humor), Dr. Watson is here for you and can’t wait to see you at your next appointment!

One of the main things Heather looks forward to is changing a patient’s perspective on visiting the dentist.
Heather received her expanded functions dental assistant license through UT College of Dentistry. She knows that many people dread going to the dentist, and loves having the chance to make nervous patients into patients who actually enjoy going to the dentist.
She has 19 years of experience in dentistry and has been with our practice since November 2011, We are thankful for her desire to make patients feel more comfortable in our office.
When she’s not at Midtown Smiles, Heather focuses on spending time with her husband Brent and their son Charlie. Heather’s family loves spending time on the lake, going to UT football games and traveling.
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Savanah started doing her clinicals with us in 2015 after receiving her Associates degree in applied science and RDA license in 2016 from Volstate. We were fortunate enough to be able to hire her full-time in July of 2016.
She likes watching smiles transform throughout the treatment process. Seeing patients become more confident as they get closer to finishing treatment is one of the most rewarding things about her job.
Not only does Savanah appreciate time spent working with our patients, she is thankful to be working with a team of people she values every single day.
Savanah savors any time spent with her friends and family. She relishes working out and spending time outside, and she also loves crafting and refurbishing furniture.
We are thankful to have such an adventurous spirit on our staff!
