Meet the Doctors
Dr. Terry Watson
Dr. Watson enjoys transforming people’s lives through cosmetic dentistry with an emphasis on creating new smiles using implants to restore normal functions. “The most fulfilling part of my job is getting to see the confidence and self-esteem of my patients skyrocket after doing the work that so many of them thought was impossible!”
This University of Louisville School of Dentistry graduate genuinely cares about the health and happiness of each patient. That’s why in the summer of 2016, after running a successful practice in Arkansas for 20 years, Dr. Watson purchased this practice from Dr. Michael Tabor and renamed it Midtown Smiles. He’s thrilled to be providing excellent care to our wonderful patients while Dr. Tabor focuses on Dental Sleep Medicine!
Dr. Watson believes in building a real relationship with each patientand often becomes so comfortable around his patients that you might catch him singing chairside! Outside the office, Dr. Watson cherishes the time spent with his wife Dana (who serves as office manager at Midtown Smiles) and their two daughters.
Dr. Watson is an avid outdoorsman, spending his free time hunting, fishing and boating among other outdoor activities. Need a custom duck call? Dr. Watson might be able to help you out!

Meet the Doctors
Dr. Mike Tabor
Dr. Michael Tabor has been providing outstanding dental care to his patients since 1973 and has been in the Midtown area since 2002. Over his 40+ years of dental experience, Dr. Tabor says one of his greatest joys is watching the lives and personalities of his patients change with their smiles. Dr. Tabor was recently recognized as one of Nashville’s Top Dentists by Nashville Lifestyles for his outstanding work in cosmetic dentistry.
He now spends his time helping patients get more restful nights of sleep by fighting the symptoms of sleep apnea with Dental Sleep Medicine. He’s excited to start a new chapter in his dental career by being on the forefront of this medical breakthrough.
Outside of work, Dr. Tabor enjoys spending time with his wife Karen, two children (Missy and Jayson) and his seven wonderful grandkids! During his time off he also enjoys golfing, attending rock concerts and playing the drums!
